How do I book an event?

If you are not a volunteer, please fill in the Hire & Enquire form. 

If you are a volunteer, please attend a programming meeting.

What technology do you have?

Cinema: 35mm, 16mm, DCP, Bluray, DVD, all video files, 5.1 surround sound

Venue: RCF HDLT10A sound system, Behringer x32 digital desk.

What is the capacity?

Venue Standing: 200
Venue Seated: 70 (theatre style with full stage up and one accessible aisle.)
Cinema: 80
Café Standing: 40
Meeting Room: 25

300 is maximum number of people allowed in the whole of the building at anyone one time.

What are the rough guideline prices for hiring?

N.B: If the hirer has a low or no-budget this can all be negotiated.

Venue: £200.00 ex VAT - includes sound engineer. Minimum 4 hour hire. Price increases for longer hires.
£150.00 ex VAT without a sound engineer. Minimum 4 hour hire. Price increases for longer hires

Cinema: £200.00 ex VAT includes projectionist. Minimum 3 hour hire.
£160.00 ex VAT without a projectionist. Minimum 3 hour hire.

Café area: £75.00 ex VAT for 2 hour use of space out of cafe opening hours

Meeting Room: £15.00 per hour

Exhibitions on the walls for viewing when we are open. Come to a programming meeting to discuss.

Hire whole building for a day: £900.00 ex VAT

We do not take bookings for private parties e.g birthday parties.

What are the opening hours? 

Opening hours dependant on volunteer availability, but we are licensed for

09.00 until 24.00, Monday to Thursday,
09.00 until 02.00 Friday and Saturday,
09.00 until 23.00 Sunday.

Alcohol:
15.00 until 23.00 Monday to Thursday,
11.00 until 01.00 Friday and Saturday,
11.00 until 22.00 Sunday.
